ABSTRACT:
This work presents a literature review that aimed to investigate the use of
active methodologies in the discipline of Biology, based on an analysis of the
literature available in scientific articles in indexed journals database. The
specific studies found for PBL in Biology teaching represent at most 1.8% of
published works. The results point to few studies on active methodologies in
Biology teaching and show the relevance of implementing it.
