ABSTRACT
A
new specific form of social organization based on the use of new information
technologies characterizes the informational society, according to Castells
(2002). Access to technology is fundamental for the full development of
individuals, but the Legal Amazon has identified a high digital exclusion and
its reduction is a challenge which overcoming cannot wait indefinitely for
public policies of the exclusive initiative of the Executive and Legislative
Powers. In this step, it is necessary to identify the main challenges that
still prevent network action in this locality and investigate alternatives to
provide excluded individuals with the necessary tools to enable their
participation in net-activist actions.
