ABSTRACT
This work aims to reflect on the
internationalization strategies in promoting sustainability from the study of
Chapada do Araripe/Brazil. The theoretical assumptions adopted were Leask
(2015), Lima and Alves (2022), Knight (2020), Romero (2006), Sarría (2006) and UNESCO (2016, 2021). Methodologically, a bibliographic
research was developed, searching the main databases and digital repositories
to support the proposed reflections. Finally, based on the results, we found
out how important Chapada do Araripe is, which houses testimonies of ancient
fauna and flora, of inestimable scientific value and recognized worldwide for
its diverse fossil content. In this regard, the need to develop strategic
actions that permeates the educational space as it collaborates for
empowerment, stimulating student protagonism not only in the academic
